The hike to "Hole in the Rock" was a lot of fun. We ventured out early one morning and it took about an hour up and and an hour and a half down. It is a gorgeous hike and even more beautiful once you arrive up top. There is a little lock box up top where journals and a pen are held. For those that make it in, you write in the journal with your thoughts, date and home state. I believe the earliest entry we saw was from 1976/77 and the last before us was in 2007 (I think).
